Terms of Use
Last updated October 30, 2026 · Pro Se Law Inc.
These terms govern your use of ProSe Law. Please read them — especially the parts explaining that we are a platform, not a law firm.
What ProSe Law is
ProSe Law is a software platform operated by Pro Se Law Inc. that helps people organize, build and manage their own legal matters. It is not a law firm. We do not give legal advice, review your documents, represent you, or file anything on your behalf. Using ProSe Law does not create an attorney-client relationship.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for your own case, including deadlines, court rules, and what you file. Court rules vary by location; always confirm requirements with your court. Nothing on ProSe Law is guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or enforceable for your situation.
You agree to provide accurate account information, keep your login secure, and not use the service for anything unlawful, to harass anyone, or to upload content you have no right to use.
AI tools
Our AI tools work from the information in your case file and can make mistakes. Check everything before you rely on it. AI output is not legal advice.
Accounts, plans and payment
You can create a free account. Uploading documents and using the full case tools require a paid case file or plan, at the prices shown on our Pricing page. Prices are charged per case or monthly as described at checkout. Monthly plans renew until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time from your Billing page; cancellation stops future charges.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you put into ProSe Law. You give us only the limited permission needed to store, process and display it to you and to anyone you choose to share it with. Our Privacy & Data Policy explains how we protect it.
Sharing
When you create a share link, anyone with that link can see what you chose to share until it expires or you switch it off. You are responsible for whom you share with.
Ending your account
You can stop using ProSe Law and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Disclaimers and limits
ProSe Law is provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties and are not liable for the outcome of any legal matter or for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will notify you before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
